Exhibition App

Exhibition texts are presented in German and English. The free app “Tempelhof Airport Project” provides all the exhibition texts in Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish. It also contains background information on the exhibition and additional material on the history of Tempelhof Field.

There are other ways to learn about the history of the former airport grounds in addition to visiting the exhibition “A Broad Field. Tempelhof Airport and Its History.” The “information trail on the history of the Tempelhof Field,” for example, consists of 20 stations at historical locations and sites. The app, which contains an interactive map of the stations of the “information trail,” invites you to visit these places. You can use the map to access the panel texts in German or English. The panel texts will be available through the app in Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish in fall 2018.

We will erase this data when its storage is no longer necessary or will restrict its processing in case of legal storage obligations.

(1) When you download the mobile app, the necessary information will be transmitted to the app store, in particular your username, email address and customer number of your account, the time and date of your download, payment information and your device identifier. We have no influence on and are not responsible for this data collection. We only process data insofar as necessary for you to download the mobile app to your mobile device.

(2) The app does not collect or process further personal data.

(3) The app does not use analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, and may be used without Internet access after installing and loading the audio guide content.

(4) Certain sections of the app feature links to our website. Visiting these linked pages requires Internet access. Personal data will be collected when you visit these pages. When merely using our website for informative purposes, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we will automatically collect the personal data your browser transmits to our server.
