2G-Rule inside the building (vaccinated or recovered)

In order to enter the building you need proof (COVID certificate or vaccination card) showing

  • That you have been vaccinated for more than 14 days
  • That you have recovered at least 28 days ago, no more than 3 months.

Please have proof ready (on your mobile device or as a printout) as well as photo ID.

The following are exempt from the 2G-Rules

  • Persons who have not yet reached the age of 18
  • Persons who present a valid medical certificate proving that they cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons

In these cases, you must produce proof of a negative corona test that is no more than 24 hours old.

Please notice:

  • During your stay it is mandatory to wear a FFP2 mask inside the building and a medical mask outside
  • maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 meters to others
  • if you need to cough or sneeze use a tissue or the crook of your arm
  • wash your hands regularly and properly
  • the house is cleaned and disinfected throughout the day. However, we recommend to avoid touching surfaces
  • avoid forming groups
  • please forgo the visit if you have symptoms of a respiratory disease
  • Please understand: visitors who had contact to a COVID-19 patient or visitors with a respiratory infection are not allowed to enter. 

The exhibitions are wheel-chair accessible.


The library is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is required: bibliothek(at)

Access to the library is currently by appointment only and with proof of a full vaccination or recovery.
