DOCUMENTATION CENTER REOPENED
The documentation center and all its exhibition areas – both inside and outside – have reopened for visitors. Open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Access via the entrance on Niederkirchnerstraße; the entrance on Wilhelmstraße will remain closed for the time being.
Please observe the distancing rules and coughing etiquette; we recommend that you wear a mouth and nose mask in outdoor areas; it is compulsory in the building. In case of acute respiratory diseases, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the center.
The library will remain closed until further notice. Events, guided tours and seminars cannot be conducted at this time.
TOPOGRAPHY OF TERROR DOCUMENTATION CENTER
More than 1.3 million people visited the "Topography of Terror" in 2018, making the documentation center one of the most frequently visited places of remembrance in Berlin. During the "Third Reich" the headquarters of the Secret State Police, the SS and the Reich Security Main Office were located at the site. more
